With a pagoda-like lid tipped by a pointed spire finial, the surface of this offering bowl (known in Burmese as hsun ok) is richly embellished with beautiful floral thayo (paste made of lacquer and ash) tendrils and floral glass decoration in various colours. Blue glass makes an appearance , a unique presence as blue is rarely seen in ancient Burmese glass colours. Protruding crystal spikes dot around, creating variance in the texture. The insides are richly coated in red lacquer, adding to the beauty of this offering bowl.
